　　獲世界舞蹈總會（WDC）正式認證、年度備受矚目的國際舞蹈盛事「2026 CTC世界盃國際標準舞公開賽」，將於7月4日在臺北小巨蛋盛大登場。本賽事由臺北市政府體育局與社團法人中華民國全民舞蹈運動協會共同主辦、運動部指導，預計吸引全球超過1,130位頂尖舞蹈選手齊聚臺北。賽事不僅祭出亞洲首創的雙樂團現場演奏，更邀請多組甫於英國黑池舞蹈節奪冠的現役世界冠軍來臺獻技，與我國優秀舞者同臺飆舞，攜手打造一場融合競技張力與藝術美感的頂級視覺饗宴。

　　體育局表示，國標舞融合運動競技、藝術美學與文化交流，不僅是深受全球喜愛的運動項目，更是展現城市文化軟實力的重要舞臺。透過舉辦國際級賽事，除提供臺灣選手與世界頂尖舞者切磋交流的機會，也進一步提升臺北作為亞洲重要國際賽事城市的能見度，向世界展現多元薈萃的城市魅力與國際接軌成果。

　　本屆賽事預計吸引超過1,130位選手參賽，並邀請多位國際舞壇重量級人物來臺擔任評審，包括WDC世界舞蹈總會榮譽副會長Steve Powell、BDFI英國國際標準舞聯合會主席Kenny Welsh、13屆世界職業拉丁舞冠軍Gaynor Fareweather MBE，以及俄羅斯世界職業摩登舞冠軍Dimitry Zharkov等舞壇巨星，為賽事再添國際聲譽與專業水準。

　　在選手陣容方面，甫於今年5月在國標舞最高殿堂「英國黑池舞蹈節」締造佳績的多組世界級好手將重磅來臺，包括來自英國的世界職業拉丁舞冠軍Dorin Frecautanu與Marina Sergeeva、烏克蘭籍世界職業摩登舞冠軍Stas Portanenko與Nataliya Kolyada，以及俄羅斯籍世界業餘拉丁舞季軍Sharif Mirkhanov與Anna Dolgopolova等頂尖舞者；另有多組世界排名前六強明星選手參賽，勢將掀起本屆賽事最高潮。

　　面對國際強敵來勢洶洶，臺灣選手也展現十足競爭力。記者會現場帶來精彩演出的臺灣職業摩登舞冠軍林長宏與李文萱，今年於英國黑池舞蹈節職業新星摩登舞賽事中勇奪世界前24名，同時躋身英國三大賽（UK Championships、Blackpool Dance Festival、International Championships）世界前48強；另一組臺灣業餘組拉丁舞冠軍王子綸與錡子媗，則於今年英國UK世界賽及去年International世界賽中，接連取得21歲以下拉丁舞組世界前12強佳績，展現臺灣國標舞持續躍升國際舞臺的堅強實力。

　　除了國際菁英齊聚，本屆賽事也持續推動兒童舞蹈人才培育計畫「小小傳奇計畫」。歷經今年2月會前賽激烈競爭後，洪辰睿、余威彥、劉哲睿、林剴玄、劉玥、蔡可綠、洪侑儀及劉宸希等8位優秀小選手脫穎而出，將於7月4日晚會舞臺上爭奪年度總冠軍。體育局表示，透過長期推動兒童培育計畫，鼓勵更多孩子投入國標舞學習，逐步建立完整人才培育體系，為臺灣舞蹈運動向下扎根，培育未來站上世界舞臺的新世代舞者。

　　值得一提的是，今年晚會決賽將採用雙樂團現場演奏模式，由臺北愛樂管弦樂團與Music Line爵士樂團聯袂演出，透過交響樂與爵士樂現場演奏，讓舞者在最真實的音樂氛圍中盡情揮灑舞藝，創造有別於傳統錄製音樂的舞臺張力與藝術層次。記者會現場也特別邀請臺北愛樂管弦樂團指揮林天吉老師及鋼琴家陳倩芬老師帶來精彩演出，搶先揭開賽事序幕。

　　此外，主辦單位延續公益精神，特別提供臺北市各里里長15張公益兌換券供里民索取，一般民眾也可憑2張未過期發票，於賽事當天下午4時30分起，至臺北小巨蛋1樓北區5號入口處的活動櫃檯免費兌換二樓看台座位席入場券1張，數量有限，換完為止。

　　體育局表示，2026 CTC世界盃國際標準舞公開賽不僅是國際標準舞競技的重要殿堂，更是一場融合運動、藝術與公益的跨界盛會。誠摯邀請市民朋友於7月4日走進臺北小巨蛋，近距離欣賞世界頂尖舞者精彩演出，共同見證國際舞壇最高水準的競技饗宴，感受國標舞獨有的魅力與感動。

Taipei Welcomes the World's Finest Dancers as the “2026 CTC Cup Ballroom Dance Championships” Takes Center Stage

The highly anticipated 2026 CTC World Cup International Ballroom Dance Open, officially sanctioned by the World Dance Council (WDC), will take place on July 4 at Taipei Arena. Jointly organized by the Department of Sports, Taipei City Government and Association Legal Person National Dance Sports of the Republic of China, under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports, the event is expected to attract more than 1,130 elite dancers from around the world to Taipei.

This year's competition will feature Asia's first-ever ballroom dance championship accompanied by two live orchestras, while several reigning world champions fresh off victories at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival in the United Kingdom are set to compete alongside Taiwan's top dancers. Together, they will deliver a spectacular showcase that blends world-class athleticism, artistic excellence and cultural exchange.

The Department of Sports noted that ballroom dancing uniquely combines athletic competition, artistic expression and international cultural interaction. By hosting a world-class event of this scale, Taipei not only provides valuable opportunities for Taiwanese athletes to compete against the world's best dancers, but also further strengthens the city's reputation as a leading destination for international sporting events in Asia, demonstrating its diverse cultural vitality and global connectivity.

More than 1,130 competitors are expected to participate in this year's event. The organizing committee has also invited several internationally renowned figures from the ballroom dance community to serve as adjudicators, including Steve Powell, Honorary Vice President of the World Dance Council (WDC); Kenny Welsh, President of the British Dance Federation International (BDFI); Gaynor Fareweather MBE, 13-time World Professional Latin Champion; and Dimitry Zharkov, World Professional Ballroom Champion from Russia. Their participation will further elevate the event's prestige and professional standards.

The competition lineup is equally impressive. Several world-class dancers who recently achieved outstanding results at the 2026 Blackpool Dance Festival—widely regarded as the most prestigious event in the ballroom dance world—will travel to Taipei to compete. Among them are World Professional Latin Champions Dorin Frecautanu and Marina Sergeeva of the United Kingdom, World Professional Ballroom Champions Stas Portanenko and Nataliya Kolyada of Ukraine, and World Amateur Latin bronze medalists Sharif Mirkhanov and Anna Dolgopolova of Russia. In addition, multiple dancers currently ranked among the world's top six will also take part, setting the stage for a thrilling international showdown.

Taiwanese dancers are also ready to rise to the challenge. Professional Ballroom Champions Lin Chang-Hung and Lee Wen-Hsuan, who will perform during the pre-event press conference, recently secured a Top 24 finish in the Professional Rising Star Ballroom category at the Blackpool Dance Festival and ranked among the world's Top 48 couples across the three major British championships—the UK Championships, Blackpool Dance Festival and International Championships.

Meanwhile, Taiwan Amateur Latin Champions Wang Tzu-Lun and Chi Tzu-Hsuan have continued to shine on the international stage, earning Top 12 finishes in the Under-21 Latin category at this year's UK Championships and last year's International Championships. Their achievements highlight the growing strength and international competitiveness of Taiwanese ballroom dancers.

Beyond elite competition, the event continues its commitment to nurturing future talent through the "Little Legends Program," a youth ballroom dance development initiative. Following a highly competitive qualifying event held in February, eight outstanding young dancers—Hong Chen-Jui, Yu Wei-Yen, Liu Che-Jui, Lin Kai-Hsuan, Liu Yueh, Tsai Ko-Lu, Hong Yu-Yi and Liu Chen-Hsi—have earned places in the Grand Final, which will be held during the gala evening on July 4.

According to the Department of Sports, the program aims to inspire more children to participate in ballroom dancing while establishing a sustainable talent development pathway for Taiwan's next generation of international competitors.

Another highlight of this year's event is the gala final, which will feature a rare dual-orchestra live performance format. The Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Line Jazz Orchestra will perform together, providing live symphonic and jazz accompaniment for the dancers. This innovative format will create a richer artistic atmosphere and a more dynamic stage experience than traditional recorded music.

To offer a preview of the event, conductor Lin Tian-Chi of the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra and pianist Chen Chien-Fen delivered special performances at the official press conference.

The organizers are also continuing the event's public welfare initiatives. Each neighborhood chief in Taipei City will receive 15 complimentary admission vouchers for local residents. In addition, members of the public may redeem one admission ticket by presenting two valid receipts beginning at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the event at the event service counter located at Entrance No. 5, North Concourse, 1F, Taipei Arena. Tickets are available in limited quantities while supplies last.

The Department of Sports emphasized that the 2026 CTC World Cup International Ballroom Dance Open is not only a premier international ballroom dance competition, but also a celebration that brings together sport, art and social engagement. The public is warmly invited to Taipei Arena on July 4 to witness world-class performances up close, experience the highest level of international ballroom dance competition and discover the unique beauty and emotion of this remarkable art form.
